2.2 Russians and Ukrainians are “brother peoples”?

True or False: FALSE

Not anymore: Was it ever true, it’s definitely not true anymore. A brother people obviously don’t wage war against their brothers (and sisters), killing (at least) tens of thousands of defenders and civilians alike or try to bomb the brother nation to submission. And as if this wouldn’t be enough, the large amount of documented war crimes perpetrated against Ukrainian people clearly tells another story. Maybe if Russia was a peaceful, respectful and friendly neighbor this could, somehow, be true. Now, on the contrary, Russia has with its brutal war installed a solid resentment and deep mistrust against Russia that may remain for generations to come.
